Registered NDIS physiotherapy across 8 Sydney clinics. Whether you are plan-managed, self-managed, or NDIA-managed, our experienced physiotherapists help you build strength, mobility, and independence in line with your NDIS goals.
NDIA-managed, Plan-managed, Self-managed
NDIS physiotherapy is physiotherapy funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme to help people living with a permanent disability improve their movement, manage pain, and live more independently. Rather than focusing only on recovery from a single injury, NDIS physiotherapy supports your broader functional goals, the everyday activities that matter most to you.
As a registered NDIS provider, iPhysio works with participants across Sydney to assess physical function, set meaningful goals, and deliver evidence-based treatment that builds strength, mobility, and confidence over time. Our physiotherapists take the time to understand your needs and tailor every session to help you get the most from your NDIS plan.
Whether your goal is to walk more confidently, move without pain, build the strength to manage daily tasks, or maintain the mobility you have, our team is here to support you at whichever of our 8 Sydney clinics is most convenient.
If you are an NDIS participant and physiotherapy will help you work towards the goals in your plan, you can access NDIS physiotherapy with us. You do not need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist, so you can book directly at your nearest iPhysio clinic.
NDIS physiotherapy is generally appropriate for participants whose disability affects their movement, strength, balance, or physical function. This covers a wide range of neurological, musculoskeletal, and physical conditions.
To access the NDIS itself, you generally need to be under 65 at the time of your first plan, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects your ability to take part in everyday activities. If you are already an NDIS participant, the simplest next step is to get in touch with your nearest clinic, and we can talk through how physiotherapy fits with your plan.
One of the most common questions we hear is how to actually use NDIS funding for physiotherapy. Here is how it works, and how being a registered provider makes things simpler.
We welcome participants under all three funding arrangements:
The NDIA pays your providers directly. Because this option can only be used with registered NDIS providers, you are free to choose iPhysio.
A plan manager handles your invoices. We liaise with them directly, so your sessions are billed without you having to manage the paperwork.
You manage your own funding. We invoice you directly, and you claim the cost back through the NDIS.
Physiotherapy is funded under your Capacity Building budget, usually within the “Improved Daily Living” support category. This budget is set aside for allied health services that help you build skills and work towards your goals. If you are not sure whether your plan covers physiotherapy, bring your plan along or give us a call, and we can help you work it out.
Our physiotherapists support NDIS participants living with a broad range of conditions. Whatever your situation, treatment is built around your goals and what you want to be able to do.
If your condition or goal is not listed here, contact your nearest clinic. Our team works with a wide range of participants, and we are happy to talk through whether physiotherapy is right for you.
We provide NDIS physiotherapy across our 8 Sydney clinics, supporting participants throughout the inner west and beyond, including Five Dock, Drummoyne, Strathfield, and surrounding suburbs close to our Concord and Mortlake clinics. Choose the location most convenient for you.

NDIS physiotherapy is available to NDIS participants whose disability affects their movement, strength, balance, or physical function, and for whom physiotherapy supports the goals in their plan. To access the NDIS itself, you generally need to be under 65 at the time of your first plan and have a permanent and significant disability.

Yes. As a registered NDIS provider, we welcome participants under all three arrangements. For plan-managed participants we liaise with your plan manager directly, for self-managed participants we invoice you to claim back, and for NDIA-managed participants we bill the NDIA on your behalf.
Your first appointment is a thorough assessment. Your physiotherapist will discuss your history, your disability, and your NDIS goals, then examine your movement and function. Together you will agree on a tailored treatment plan and the goals you want to work towards.
Our physiotherapists support participants with a wide range of conditions, including stroke, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, acquired brain injury, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditions, among others. Treatment is always built around your individual goals.
To join the NDIS, you generally need to be under 65 at the time of your first plan. Once you are a participant, you can continue to access your funded supports, including physiotherapy.
