Our Service:
iPODIATRY Australia is an extension of iPHYSIO Australia, bringing your facility to the next level in holistic care. An approach to healthcare that focuses attention on preventing illness and prolonging life. Care of the highest standard that is both reliable and affordable.
At iPODIATRY we know a lot can be done to relieve pain, improve comfort and keep residents healthier with a renewed quality of life.
The condition of feet often provides an early indication for conditions such as diabetes, arthritis and circulatory disease. We’re dedicated to providing a service that’s reliable. By establishing a routine cycle of visits, your facilities can be assured that we’ll be on-site when we’re supposed to and every resident will be seen as often as clinically indicated. We believe it is our duty to minimise out of pocket expenses where we can, and a podiatry provider should be working to ensure that all eligible residents are being bulk billed so there’s no cost to them (or the facility).
Our service includes:
- General Podiatry (management of nails, corns and callus, fungal infections, ingrown toe nails, management of diabetic ulcers including debridement and dressing)
- Foot Deformities (bunions, clawed or hammered toes)
- Pain (heel, arch, forefoot and ankle pain)
- All documentation, progress notes and reviews on a needs basis
- Assisting with facilities accreditation when requested
- Loyal, experienced and professional Aged Care practitioners
- Facility and practitioner consistency and continuity
- We play an instrumental role in bulk billing to DVA and Medicare (CDM) by constant communication with doctors and specialists, saving the facility upfront costs
- Ongoing assessment and review of residents with changed conditions
- Equipment prescription as required
- Competent and timely care treatment and support of all resident and care staff
- We spread out Medicare EPC plans across the year and only see residents with general podiatry needs as needed/within the homes budget and request
- Residents with Diabetes and wounds will be serviced using EPC plans first and managed timely at a cost-effective rate within the homes podiatry budget
- Our team works to be cost effective whilst providing the best podiatry care to your organisation
